FLORIDA TITLE INSURANCE
We issue title insurance at title company rates on Florida real estate transactions in all of Florida’s 67 counties.
Our office handles residential resale and refinance transactions and can issue requires title insurance through one of our title underwriting contracts; but unlike most title companies, our title work is performed “in house” by a Florida Bar board certified real estate attorney with over 31 years of title examination experience. Most people don’t realize that Florida law allows non-attorneys to become licensed title agents after only 40 hours of “education”. The title companies that don’t self examine send their title work out, sometimes overseas to title clerks who don’t even know where Florida is located. Those companies typically charge higher prices for their closing services to make up for their extra costs. Our “in house” examination allows rapid turn-around at title charges that are often less than at a title company, since we don’t have to mark them up to cover outsourced title clerks. And of course, we quote our rates, in writing, and stick to it.
